metrodogs

Rachelle Delaney, a fantastic young adult writer based in Vancouver, BC, has written another fine book, The Metro Dogs of Moscow–the official launch is set for tomorrow in Vancouver, BC.  Apparently stray dogs learn the subway system in Moscow as a means of getting around.  Unfortunately, it’s not available in the States, but it’s a good excuse to head up to Canada if you’re not there already.

Come March, Bess Lovejoy, Seattle-based writer and force of nature, is launching her first book, Rest in Pieces, a work of non-fiction about the adventures of famous people after their deaths.  She’s written some great articles for the New York Times, and you might’ve heard her recently on NPR.
