Classes

Introduction to Creative Writing – North Seattle College

Introduction to Creative Writing is a playful, generative writing course for anyone who wants to write in the community of others and cultivate a creative writing practice. You will use prompts and writing activities to help you leap the boundaries of your brain, explore genres, and create and curate your own material to expand into creative writing projects. In addition, you will learn the art of workshop and how to give and receive useful feedback. In this supportive environment, you’ll gain confidence as a writer, learning to trust your process and your work.

Creative Writing 2 – North Seattle College

Creative Writing 2 is for anyone looking to develop their writing through practice, discussion, and community support. You can write in any genre and bring in your own work, whether it’s a finished draft, a work in progress, or something new you’ve written during class. This class focuses on giving and receiving feedback that is thoughtful, honest, and helpful. You’ll learn how to use that feedback to revise and move your writing forward. In-class writing time and conversations will help spark ideas and give you fresh ways to look at your work.
